Job Description:

seeking a seasoned Pre-Construction Procurement Manager to oversee
procurement strategies for major construction projects. This role
requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of
procurement principles and supply chain management within the
construction industry. The successful candidate will work closely
with project managers and engineers to ensure optimal selection of
suppliers and materials, support sustainable practices, and
maintain budget and timeline requirements. This pivotal role
supports our mission to enhance building efficiencies and
innovations globally, ensuring every project aligns with our high
standards of sustainability and technological integration. Develop
and implement procurement strategies tailored for large-scale
construction projects. Manage relationships with key suppliers to
negotiate the best terms and prices while ensuring quality and
reliability. Collaborate with project managers and other
stakeholders to forecast project demands and requirements. Ensure
all procurement activities adhere to corporate policies and legal
standards. Support project goals by coordinating with internal
teams to find cost-effective and innovative procurement solutions.
Monitor market trends to anticipate changes in the supply chain and
mitigate risks. Promote and implement sustainable procurement
practices aligning with Johnson Controls' commitment to
sustainability. Strong negotiation and relationship management
skills In-depth knowledge of construction materials and equipment
Experienced in project management and strategic planning Proficient
