Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Counsel - Biotech Patent
Law.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a global intellectual property strategy for
therapeutic products
Draft, file, and prosecute patent applications worldwide while
conducting prior art searches
Provide legal counsel on IP matters and assist with
litigation-related issues
Required Qualifications
J.D. or LL.M. degree from an accredited law school and admission to
practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction
Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark
Office
Four years of experience in patent or intellectual property law in
the biopharma or life sciences sector
Preferred ten years of experience in patent law, including pre-JD
experience as a patent agent
Advanced degree in a life science field is preferred
