(COTA) license, and 1 years Certified Occupational Therapy
Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available
for a full-time occupational therapy assistant specializing in
school-based services to support an elementary school caseload.
This position requires expertise in pediatric occupational therapy
within a school setting and offers a contract through the end of
the current academic year. Key Details: Location: Long Beach, CA
(Elementary school setting) Schedule: Full-time, Monday through
Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM Duration: Immediate start with contract
ending June 12, 2026 Caseload: Elementary students requiring
occupational therapy support Number of Openings: 1 Work Setting:
Onsite at the school Interview Process: Conducted via Zoom
Qualifications and Experience: Must hold an active California
Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license Demonstrated
experience working in school environments, preferably with
elementary-age children Strong knowledge of school-based
occupational therapy practices and compliance requirements Ability
to manage an elementary caseload effectively and collaborate with
educators and school staff Primary Responsibilities: Provide direct
occupational therapy services tailored to the developmental needs
of elementary students Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to
develop individualized education program (IEP) goals incorporating
occupational therapy strategies Maintain thorough and timely
documentation in accordance with state and school policies
Participate in meetings, consultations, and ongoing professional
