Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical Intensive Care Unit Location: Riverside, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,562 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified MICU RN in Riverside, California, 92501! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in ICU License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Greater than 1 year of ICU experience Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the ICU. The unit has 35 beds and employs a total of 94 staff members. Staffing on day shifts is dependent on patient census and includes 1 charge nurse, 1 patient care technician, and up to 19 registered nurses. Night shifts also vary based on census and include similar staffing. The patient to nurse ratio is 1:2. Essential equipment includes external ventricular drains, ventilators, IV fluid management systems, rapid infusers, and EMR systems. Candidates must possess strong skills in critical care nursing, with experience preferred in neurological, trauma, or cardiac ICU settings. Experience as a preceptor and/or charge nurse is favorable. Typical procedures performed include central line, hemodialysis, and arterial line insertions, wound care, and post-neurological intervention care. The ideal candidate is positive, upbeat, and hardworking. Floating to other areas such as surgical ICU, cardiac vascular unit, progressive care unit, and emergency department holds may be required. Weekend shifts include working every other weekend, with day shifts on Saturday and Sunday or night shifts on Friday and Saturday.
