California, 92373! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing

Medical/Surgical nursing - Experience with Rapid Response Teams -
Proficient in Blood Product Administration - Skilled in Central
Line Blood Draw and Peripheral Line Care/Management - Ability to
Start IVs, Administer Heparin and Insulin - Knowledgeable in CVA
care, Surgical Drains, and Oxygen Therapy - Proficient with
Isolation Precautions Description: This position is for a
Registered Nurse in a community hospital setting. The patient
population includes a general medical and surgical population,
including total joint and spine surgery patients. Support services
available include interpretation services, lift teams, pharmacy,
phlebotomy, physical therapy, radiology, rapid response teams,
respiratory services, social services, transportation, and unit
secretaries. Provider coverage is managed by hospitalists. The role
requires floating between four other Medical/Surgical/Telemetry
units. It is essential for the nurse to be familiar with telemetry
monitoring. The nurse is responsible for SBAR communication and
documentation in the appropriate charting system. Dress code
requires blue scrubs without logos. Candidates should possess
strong skills in managing various patient care scenarios, including
telemonitoring and feeding tube management. Experience with wound
care, PICC line management, and post-operative care is preferred.
Knowledge of interpreting dysrhythmias and managing them
appropriately is also valuable. Candidates must accept on-call
rotations and weekend shifts as part of the job responsibilities.
