Job Description Job Description Puente Hills Hyundai is expanding our used-car operations, and we’re looking for an experienced, motivated Used Car Technician to join our high?volume, fast?growing dealership in the City of Industry. As a Used Car Technician , you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and reconditioning pre?owned vehicles to Puente Hills Hyundai’s quality standards. You’ll play a key role in ensuring every car on our lot is safe, reliable, and ready for retail delivery. Compensation: $96,000 - $120,000 yearly Responsibilities: Perform complete multi?point inspections on incoming used vehicles Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and safety issues Complete reconditioning work, including brakes, suspension, fluids, tires, and light diagnostics Perform road tests to verify the complaint and confirm the repair quality Accurately document all repairs and recommendations Work efficiently in a flat?rate, high?volume environment Maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with shop standards Communicate effectively with service advisors and management Qualifications: 3 years of automotive technician experience (used-car experience strongly preferred) Ability to independently perform key reconditioning repairs Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills Own a complete set of hand tools Valid CA driver’s license with a clean driving record Reliability, professionalism, and teamwork are a must ASE certifications are a plus (not required) About Company Puente Hills Hyundai is a busy multi-dealership, family-owned franchise.
