Job Description:
Our global, industry leading technology client is seeking an
experienced Staff Accountant to join their accounting department
and provide accurate financial accounting and reporting. The Staff
Accountant will be an integral part of the daily and month-end
close process. This position will be responsible for, but not
limited to, the following: Preparing and posting month-end entries
for the consolidation group in addition to performing account
reconciliations and related analysis Reviewing and reconciling the
fixed assets schedules and recording depreciation and other related
journal entries Reviewing trial balances for the various
subsidiaries Reconciling intercompany balances between the various
subsidiaries Generating accounting reports and support for the Tax
Department Assist in various ad-hoc projects and corporate
initiatives when presented The qualified Staff Accountant will
possess: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Approximately
3 years of experience in accounting – ideally a blend of public
accounting and private industry; can be straight public accounting
experience (audit or tax) or solid G/L experience within industry
Exposure to financial statement preparation and experience with the
month-end close process Excellent communication (both verbal and
written), organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making
skills Strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively
in a team environment within a fluid business operating state For
