Job Description:
A company is looking for an Accounting Director to lead
financial operations remotely.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full monthly and year-end close process, including
general ledger and financial statements
Evaluate financial processes for automation and ensure compliance
with internal controls and audit standards
Coordinate with external tax advisors and maintain compliance with
federal, state, and local regulations
Qualifications
7+ years of accounting experience, with 3+ years in a managerial or
director-level role
Experience in a startup or high-growth environment, preferably in
tech or media
Proficient in modern accounting systems such as QuickBooks Online,
NetSuite, or Sage Intacct
Strong Excel skills with experience in financial reporting and
reconciliation
Able to work independently and manage competing deadlines
effectively
