Job Description:
A company is looking for a Collection Specialist to join their
Revenue Cycle Management team.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure daily goals for cash collections and accounts receivable are
met
Research outstanding balances and take necessary actions to resolve
them in a timely manner
Negotiate payment plans with patients and review insurance
remittance advices for accuracy
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required; some college
preferred
Minimum of one year of experience in medical collections with
knowledge of managed care and insurance reimbursement
Working knowledge of automated billing systems; experience with
CPR+ preferred
Solid skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and
Outlook
Ability to type 40 wpm and proficiency with a 10-key calculator
